Is it possible to see what my total time has been in each heart rate zone for a given period of time? Just like it's possible to see in an activity, I'd like to see all of the times added up for a total (and be able to choose 7 days, 30 days, 6 months, 12 months etc.)

I have 2 Garmin device (in total allready models 7 bought but over time) But I use 99% of time STRAVA to analyze my worjouts bcs is such a great and visible compare to Garmin which is a ''decade'' behind....

Right, and that's how it supposed to be. Garmin focuses on their product - the hardware, while providing the basic functionality in Garmin Connect, and Strava, their partner, focuses on the software, providing the advanced functionality. This is the exact purpose of their cooperation, so that Garmin does not need to reinvent the wheel, and can rather invest in the hardware development, which is certainly preferable also from the consumer's point of view. What's wrong with it?

I'am ok with thei ''cooperation'' just make it offical ! And give all Garmin device buyer free lifetime strava account with all features ( for example reedem code in box with your device) than everybody will be happy!

Make it simple Garmin device = no garmin software = Strava free! Nobody will complain.

It is official. They are business partners, but it does not mean you get all features for free. Strava offers plenty of functionality with their free accounts too, though.

Well, my Garmin device was reasonably priced, and I do not expect people working without being paid, so am quite satisfied with what I get. But if you find you get too little functionality for too much money, maybe you could tell us who offers better functionality for less money. We'll all gladly look at such alternatives.

I spent like 2500 € over last 10 years for 7 garmin device and still do not have most up to date metrics (even if they can be enable in my recent devices by just the software update GARMIN not doing that ! once u paid U not geting anything else !
Instead they push to buy new model which are ussualy just redesigned software updated devices with added 2/3 features NOT new revolutionary products! If you add to that fact that the garmin ''engine'' is the Firstbit algorythms & features calculating metrcis with OUR DATA there is simple conclusion : Garmin build their business on our data - they schould at least provide us a great features & software to analuze them in regular free updates!
STRAVA (u getting all new features & updates once they come) for money you paid once for your suscription! And Strava metrics going beyond what's garmin connect offer.
**Example showing garmin connect limits:
Yesterday I went for a workout sudenly my HR dissapear... What result in :
- lost important workout data! - bad workout load estimation - bad recovery estimate - bad trainig status - bad kcl used etc...
Important workout data lost, and all week, month metrics will be not accurate now! Just because HR batery was dead (without any alerts from garmlin connect)
In STRAVA no problem! you can replace HR data and gett all metrics right! GARMIN no solution data lost that's it!
We schould be amazed! with each new device year by year... But for me with GARMIN is a oposite.... First device U buy YES is Great! then once u see that you have to spent same or bigger amount of money again to get a NEW one which is just really jus a 2 /3 features more , more / less same device.... U dissapointed! When U compare evolution speed beetwin STRAVA & GARMIN ... U getting more dissapointed!
So you spend 2500€ on the devices but cannot afford 5€/month for having the full featured Strava account?
If you are unsatisfied with Garmin (and you have the full right to be), then I do not understand why you go on buying new and new Garmin devices. Simply get a product of a competitor that offers better functionality for less money. And if you tell us that there is no such option, then it looks like Gamin's pricing is more than justified.

Looking at what Strava does.... Yes U're right there will be soon no point to buy garmin devices... As they do not offer much more than concurence... And they after sale service is 'at least in FRANCE completly a joke!!!!!
90% of garmin users known by me think the same... If you read carefuly big number of post at this forum you will also find out that there is not much SOLUTIONS proposed by Garmin to our request and problems, not even respond... simply lack of respect shwown by Garmin to their customers! U believe that in time it's going to get them more customers ? or just picture of sell / forget brand ?
Strava yearly subscription and cheap HR belt + watch youa are at 150 € - and u getting all new features updates as soon as they come from strava!
Why paid garmin device 500 €/700 € ? and one year later pay again same amount or more to get they ''new'' feature ,?
sorry new features from firstbit (which can be simply added to you device by software update for free) No way ! Garmin will use situation other way proposing it in facelifted device to push you to buy new model!
