Call to add yourself to the feature-request ticket
I just spoke with Garmin customer support to request this feature. There's an existing ticket. The rep "added me to the ticket." I asked what that means, and she said that (1) adding more people to the ticket adds "weight" to the request so that they'll prioritize it higher and (2) I'll be notified when they roll out the solution.
Perhaps if more of us call and add our names to the feature-request ticket, we'll spur Garmin to act. I don't think they take much, if any, action in response to comments on this board. My impression from speaking with the rep.
