Corrupt fit-file? How to fix?

Hi there!

My device is syncing, but my latest activity does not show up in GC. Manual upload to the activity-list stucks without error message.

What app do I have to use to open file? Any ideas to get this fixed are welcome! :-D

i'm having the same problem with a 96 mile ride that registered as a longer ride (maybe 120m or so). I tried the online kiesewetter.nl tool without luck. Any chance you could give it a try?

Your ride started with a 37km head start

recording to your file ended abruptly (low battery)

updated file length, updated file checksum and import/export with Fit File Tools's section remover

updated GPS distance with FitFileRepairTool

original distance

corrected distance

care to tell to story how do you think it came to this ?

is your fit file the result of a recovery tool ?

first part with data record definitions is complete missing
perhaps it could be salvageable with the header of one your previous activities
- it needs to be an activity with the same hardware setup
there is data in the file for a 4 hour period

am not native english, so let me re-arrange the words used before

first part with data record definitions is complete missing

provide one or more fit files from past or present activities where you used a similar sensor setup

am not making any promises towards a successful repair
