Hello. I seem to be having a similar problem. Though I believe that I have repaired it (for future files) by deleting file history on my Garmin device, I am still unable to retrieve/download a particular FIT file. I tried using garmin.kiesewetter.nl, but the msg in the lower corner kept saying "Waiting for garmin.kiesewetter.nl" or something like that. I even tried renaming the FIT file and retried. Still didn't work. Then tried downloading the FFRT trial version, which only fixes the first half of the file and then puts in arbitrary data for the second half. (Not planning to purchase that software.) Wondering if someone might be able to repair this corrupt file for me?...
