Corrupt fit-file? How to fix?

goddi2k - are you trying to upload the file using this screen? I have just been able to successfully upload the fixed file to GC.

kiwimtnbkr - yes, I'm using this import screen in GC. I always get the below error message. I fired up the developer tools in Chrome and the upload fails with a http 500, but unfortunately still no specific error message ("messages":[{"code":500,"content":"An unexpected error occurred while processing the file."}]) ... :-( I also tried the GC account from my wife, but I got the same error message. Also tried different browsers. I'm a bit puzzled that it works on your end...ciq.forums.garmin.com/.../1457589.png

Would somebody be able to fix this file for me please? I can see it fine on my watch but it's not syncing and I can't upload it to GarminConnect or to Strava. I think I got a new PB so really hope it's recoverable!

smaston3 - FFRT shows that your file doesn't contain a single data. Not a lot I can do to assist without any data to manipulate

kiwimtnbkr OK, thanks for trying. It happened when I paused a ride and turned the Garmin 520 off, then it wouldn't turn on properly. When it did the ride had gone, I recovered the file using a bit of file recovery software.
