Trainings -> Workouts - Search functionality

It would be nice to have "text" search functionality. I have over 300 different workouts and it is very hard to use the pagination mechanism and go thru 13 different pages to locate one workout.

Minimum:
search in workout name

Maximum:
full text search even in comments
  • I was kinda curious about this one, because it's a nice feature request.

Soo, this isn't exactly what you're looking for, but what if you could view all your workouts on the same page? Then you could just sort with the column headers as usual, and use CTRL-F on your browser to search the workout titles.

The catch is you need to use the free Requestly app on Chrome or Firefox (PC, Mac or Android), which allows the content of websites to be modified.

    1) Install Requestly: http://www.requestly.in/
    2) Open the following link: https://app.requestly.in/rules/#sharedList/1540020576677
    3) Click the "Import Rule" button in upper-right hand corner of the page

All your Garmin workouts (up to 9999) will be displayed on the same page, without any kind of pagination, infinite scrolling or loading.

Disclaimer: If Garmin changes the workout page in the future, this hack will either break and/or fail to pick up some of Garmin's changes.

You can get the official behaviour back at any time by deleting the rule, or disabling/uninstalling Requestly. (You can quickly deactivate/reactive Requestly by right-clicking on the "R" icon next to the URL bar.)
  • Works like a charm! Thank you.
  • I have been asking since the platform changed. It's so hard when I have a 36-Week Training 6 day per week, multiple workouts per day, search for only sorting by columns, I had create a nomenclature specific to reuse them and sort per column. But isn't enough to repeat a plan. The perfect tool that will be, something like  "Garmin Training Plan Template"  where you can unload all the workouts in the template and be able to schedule like the training plans that Garmin already have. that will be the power tool to dethrone training peaks or any training platform in the market.  If need to do a Research & Development (at least the Business Requirements Document) I'm here to help
