On the Rocks Badge - how do you get it?

Topic explains, I have mountain biked and got the shred the gnar but not the on the rocks. Anything specific I need to be aware of? #badgehunter

I got that badge today. I recorded an off-road ride on my fenix 3 and when I got back I changed the activity from "Cycling" to "Gravel/Unpaved Cycling". Then the badge was awarded.…

You can edit an activity within the Garmin connect mobile app to make it "gravel/unpaved cycling". Select the activity, tap the three little dots in the top right corner, select "edit activity", then select "activity type".

Just choose any ride activity and change the type of sport to GRAVEL/UNPAVED CYCLING (top left of the activity page on Garmin connect )

If I could change an open water swim to collect the dive badges I would. I am a certified diver with a Mares dive computer. Totally unlikely I’m going to buy the MK1 for a grand when a $250 dedicated computer works just fine.

I will never buy a Captain marvel or Rey or Darth Vaider or First Avenger watch (etc) but I see badges regarding them in my list of available badges. I'd prefer to hide them and not ever see them again. But your situation is more frustrating.

I know this is an old post, but to all divers out there without a Garmin diving watch. You can log your dives with any Garmin device and get the diving badges. It will require lots of work but can be done. Log a 1 second long activity on your watch with any activity you like, save and sync. Then in Garmin Connect you edit that activity with the correct diving data. Change the date and time to the correct day.
