Performace condition missing

Hello,
does anyone know why GC/watch doesn't show performance condition? I've had performance condition graph for every run so far but no today. I've changed heart rate zones few days ago so I've not reached such high HRs as with my previous runs. Is it "conditioned" by reaching certain % of max HR? Thanks.

  • I usually only get a PC reading when I run at a heart rate which is more than 80% of my LTHR. But I don't know the exact rule.
  • You do need a resting heart rate configured, which you can either set on the device or in GC but I think the option in GC is only visible if you select %HRR as your zones but you can switch back after setting the RHR.
  • Also, the Firstbeat algorithm probably adapts its intensity threshold for detection.

If you buy a new watch (or do a factory reset on your old watch), the watch is able to calculate VO2Max (which is Performance Condition's cousin) from walks. But the first time you do a run, it will stop detecting VO2Max from walks. So here the intensity threshold could be said to have moved.

I don't know if the intensity threshold can move even further op, depending on how hard you usually run.
