Garmin Connect not useable for sprints & intervalls?

Hello,
maybe it's just a mistake from me but I have a problem with Garmin Connect when I want to analyse my sprints.
The point is that I've switched my 645 to GPS every second but on Connect I can zoom only to 3s steps.
At least at longer training units (one or two hours).
But with a poor third party app on my Samsung it's possible to get 1 second steps.
Did somebody have an idea how I can manage it with Connect-Web or App?
Thanks a lot, Alex
  • When I look at the charts for a sub-one hour run of mine, the tooltip when hovering in the pace-chart shows me data from every other second. I guess it's a matter of granularity in the chart library, and the longer the workout the larger time-buckets.
  • Schwermetall - what are you wanting to analyse down to the second? are you doing 100M sprints - not really sure that 1 second analysis gives you anything useful

Well as a BMX rider my training is different compared to a average runner.
For me it's important to see how fast I was and how was my cadence.
I'm measuring GPS with the 645, the speed and the cadence with separate Garmin sensors.

But meantime I exported my last training from Garmin Connect to Polar Flow and voila it works!
I can see everything in 1-second steps.
But to be honest that's not the way I like to go.
I would like to see the recorded Garmin-data with Garmin Connect.

Please have a look at the attached screenshots from the same traning files from my 645.
Shown with Connect and also with Polar Flow.
Connect: only every 3rd second (max. speed 35,4 km/h)
Flow: ever second (max. 42,2 km/h)
You will agree that 20% more speed is huge.
  • Schwermetall sorry - i was coming from a running and triathlon background and have no knowledge of BMX :o - i can only suggest that you raise it in the features requests and try and get other BMX riders to lobby for it as well then Garmin may ultimately listen
