The #1 request for me would be to allow the map to go full screen. Right now it's rather small and hard to use to explore where you went and the surroundings. or at least make it a little bigger, please!
rbirk ASmugDill This now exists as an official feature on the Garmin Connect website, at least for me (tried on Chrome and Firefox). There's a button in the upper-right-hand corner of the map which goes into a zoomed view which works a bit better than the linked workaround (it has a close button and has a few buttons for lap markers, layers, etc.)

WillNorthYork, thanks for that. I never noticed it, since I haven't been running as much lately, and then only ‘maintenance’ runs which I didn't feel the urge to review and analyse as long as I saw (in the widget on the GC Dashboard) that the activity records have been successfully uploaded.
ASmugDill Martinr2 no worries. It’s always somewhat shocking when Garmin adds stuff ppl wanted. :p
The webpage from the thread you linked still has a great tool for summarizing splits in GC. You click the laps you’re interested in and it averages them. It’s great for intervals and splitting long runs halfway — I used to do those calculations manually in Excel after exporting my splits.
