Edited titles show as updated in Android GCM too. Where edits don't get updated is in website dashboard widgets. This began yesterday (Sept 21) afternoon.
To be clear, old edits, such as old renames of old activities, show up. New edits, including new edits of old activities, do not show up in dashboard widgets. New edits do show up in activity detail pages and in GCM.
Same for me too. I tracked a run yesterday, changed the title but as mentioned it shows up with the default name under All Activities.
Even worse, I logged a Strength Training session today , using "Other" on the watch and it doesn't dispay the name or the activity correctly under All Activities.
I thought it was just me and was renaming and renaming..."glad" :rolleyes::mad::mad::rolleyes: to see it is a known bug
Same here: worked fine as of last Thursday, but did a run Saturday, renamed it in the Android app and it shows up fine. GarminConnect web home page, and activities page, I'm seeing the generic name and event type, but when I open the actual activity it's 100% fine with the custom name and event type I tagged from the app. Renaming and tagging from the website makes no difference. Seems that the activity-list service is storing it's data separately to the activity details, and while the details are fine, the main list is out of sync.
I have the same problem. This is annoying because I cant search (by title) for similar activities, which is the only type of seach I use frequently. I hope this bug is solved quickly. Forerunner 230 CC
