Since yesterday, when I rename an activity (to give it more description in the title), it reverts back to the default name it was given when I uploaded it as soon as I click away from it. Anyone know what's going on here?
I did a indoor bike ride and my did not change, but this morning I walked and it showed up ok. I think it is only with the ones if you change something in the fields. Just my guess
Garmin may have fixed something. I imported my bike ride this morning, renamed it, categorized it, assigned it to fitness, added equipment....and everything shows up correctly in the Activities list view.
All the previous entries since Sept. 21 still show up incorrectly as uncategorized, and with the original name assigned when imported. Curious.
I have figured out how to solve the problem, at least for me. Newly imported activities are now displaying correctly, except the ones from the previous 5 days. For those, I have exported them using the "Export Orginal" function that you can find in the menu that pops up from the little gear icon on the activity detail view page.
Then, I re-import those activities, rename them, categorized the, etc. They now display correctly, and I delete originals that do not display correctly.

I tried editing the affected workouts with the same info and when saved they appear properly in the activities list

It's even easier than that, just go to the activities list & edit the affected activities title there, no need to export and then reimport to do it
