Since yesterday, when I rename an activity (to give it more description in the title), it reverts back to the default name it was given when I uploaded it as soon as I click away from it. Anyone know what's going on here?
I just renamed my most recent activity in the Activities widget, on one of my Garmin Connect web dashboards, then navigated in the widget to an earlier activity and then navigated back to the most recent one. The change of name persisted for me.
OK, now I've also tried renaming an activity on the detailed page for the record, then navigated away from it (to an earlier activity) and back again. No problem there either.
Getting the same issue here. This morning's training activity renamed, as soon as I click away from whichever screen I do that in (dashboard, Activity page or the activity itself) it simply goes back to "Untitled". The activity category is also defaulting back to "Uncategorized" after I set it to Fitness.
I'm seeing this too - specifically, the edited title shows up on the activity page, but the original "Untitled" shows up in dashboard widgets. This began yesterday afternoon. The edited title shows up in GCM.
Same issue here. Problem started yesterday. On the ACTIVITIES page, the activities show up as "The Dalles Uncategorized" (The Dalles is the city I live in). But if I click on the individual activity, the detail page shows correctly. The Activity has been categorized (road cycling), event type: fitness, and named "Bike Ride".
Just to be clear, all previous activities, prior to yesterday and today, show correctly on the ACTIVITIES page. It is ONLY the last two entries which display incorrectly.
That's what I'm seeing. Opening the page of the activity itself shows the renamed activity but in the widgets and on the activities list ( https://connect.garmin.com/modern/activities ), the default name is still showing.
The symptoms are curious. If I open my Activities on Garmin Connect Mobile (iphone, iOS 12) the activities all show with the correct names. But, on a web browser, the names for the last three days show the default names assigned by the GPS before I changed them. That is only in the "Activities" view which list them all. If I open an individual activity, it shows the correct name and category. But...this is only true for activities from the last 3 days. All previous activities (and I have 60) show correctly. I can't think of a what might cause that mix of symptoms.
I thought that this might be cached browser data showing that isn't getting refreshed. But it is not. I did a complete clearing of all cached browser data and cookies, and the same problem persists. I have also tried it with two different browsers; Chrome and MS Edge. Same problem with both, so it isn't a browser problem.
