Active Calories in Garmin Connect dashboard - bring back the chart

I considered Active Calories chart as most useful of all and cannot figure out why it was removed. It is especially useful for folks like me that
* do not log food data (so Calories Remaining chart have little use), and
* rarely do record activities (Activity Calories chart shows fraction of effort - which mostly is steps).

Active Calories told me my activity level over month so I could take corrective action to maintain my weight/fitness level (as I could assume my calorie intake to be roughly constant).

One could mention that Total Calories as an alternative, however
the chart shows Active Calories in red. However, it is not easy to read as RMR part dominates and RMR is variable across months (due to day difference/weight change).

Can you bring back the Active Calories chart, please
  • I have that chart in my dashboard. It is not gone.

But it is worth nothing, for two reasons:

    1. It doesn't show calories from logged walking activities. The calories labeled "Walking" are from daily steps in the activity tracker.

    2. It includes your RMR calories for the duration of the activity. So you can sit on a couch for 10 hours while logging an activity, and your RMR will give you 700 active calories. Or you can sit on the same couch for the same 10 hours without logging an activity, and you will not get any active calories.

The Active Calories in the Total Calories report does not have any of those two problems.
