Badges Not Awarding

I have not been awarded the badges for completing a goal and welcome to the party. I completed a step goal and a running goal and so far nothing. Also, I have joined a group and created a group and not have been awarded anything for this either. Your help is greatly apprecaited, thank you in advance.
You'll need to email [email][email protected][/email] or use the online chat on the Garmin website and they'll look into it for you. I'm currently having the same issue. They seem to be working on a case by case basis rather than an overall fix.
I have discovered something RE: Badges... I've put in some manual entries, and while they are located for my PRs, none of them were applying or rewarding badges. It appears to be that there is no Garmin or recognized 3rd party app associated with them. As a test, I exported one to .TCX format, and then reimported it. It puts a generic Garmin device on it, and gave me the badge! Interesting. It created a 2nd entry, without some items I had manually entered, so it is a little less info that I would like, but I'm debating at least doing the ones that would award me badges... Not sure this will help anyone, but something I did find yesterday in my goofing around with badges.
