Just wondering if anyone has heard about any new HRM coming? I am seeing the SWIM, RUN and TRI discounted on Amazon. Been looking to pick up the seim and tri to pair with my F5+ for swimming HR and Run power details. Not sure if I should grab them now if something newer is coming.
The ones you're seeing a relatively new iterations. For reference, even the "new" HRM-Run (red) is functionally (i.e. "the data recorded") identical to the old version with the removable sensor pod. IMO, you're better off with the old HRM-Run as the strap can be replaced for a few bucks when worn out. The new (red) version is basically disposable since the electronics are permanently affixed to the strap.

If the current versions already meet your requirements, and you feel you're getting a bargain with the current retail offers, then what does it matter whether something newer is coming? Even if something newer is coming, I'm confident that when they hit the market they still won't be at those prices that are grabbing your interest. As a consumer, you never get to make decisions based on perfect information including what is on the technological horizon and what will hit the market over the useful lifetime of something one could purchase now.
