Garmin Connect Stopped Writing Workouts to Health

Whatever the most recent iOS update for Connect was, it is no longer writing workouts to my Health app on iPhone. I have force quit, shut down, and restarted everything multiple times. This is really annoying, especially for how expensive the watch is.

Anyone else having this issue? I am assuming it is a Garmin bug in need of fixing.

    I (and one other forum member) have this issue too.

    I am a bit disappoited that garmin doesn't respond here to aknowledge this problem.

  • Typical Garmin. Deny, ignore, deny.

    I’ve been pulling my hair out the past several days, wondering why my activity data isn’t syncing. Then I realized that Garmin updated the iOS app from 4.8 to 4.9. And now 4.91 is released, but the issue persists.
  • Mine is transferring ok with iOS and GCM whatever the latest is. Although I do find on occasion that calories are not aways synced over. Is the problem Garmin's or Apple's? Have you contacted Apple? There are other posts about this in the past along with some suggestions. One I think is to go into Apple Health. Under Sources select to turn all categories off. Can't remember if there was a recommendation to delete the data too. Then exit and close Apple Health. Make sure it's closed in the background too. Perhaps reboot the phone. Back into Apple Health and turn all categories back on.

    As I said, I can't remember the exact instructions, but do a search and you'll probably find it.

    Same here. It doesn't sync absolutely nothing since 4.9.0.14 update. I've just updated to 4.9.1.1 right now and the issue persists. I've sent an e-mail to Garmin hoping they will fix it soon.

  • Thanks for the replies. Yes, I've tried fiddling with Health to fix this. To no avail.

    Even if that were to work, sync is supposed to be seamless, not something we have to force by toggling various categories in two different apps on and off. This is on Garmin--given that their watches cost hundreds of dollars, I find their lack of attention to this detail (and lack of timely reply) really frustrating.

    (I did also send a support email yesterday morning.)
