Garmin Connect Website Not Secure

I just noticed this today, but I'm not getting warned that the Garmin Connect Website is attempting to load scripts from unauthenticated sources. Anyone else experiencing this?

After playing around with this a little more it seems the error only occurs once I open this custom tab. I think one of these widgets has an issue.

After doing some troubleshooting, basically removing each widget until the warning disappeared, I've discovered that the Activities widget is the cause.
  • The activities widget is probably one of the most important ones. Interesting.

Haven't noticed it before but same experience here. Appears related to when maps are displayed, I see the same notification on the "News Feed" and when viewing individual activities. Not too concerned since Chrome is preventing the script from running.

Yes, you are correct. I think it has to to with the script related to the google map they display. Would still be nice if they fixed this. Where is the best place to report website issues?
  • No problem here with Chrome or Waterfox
  • There's a new version of Chrome being rolled out which flags sites they consider insecure. Chances are you don't have the latest update. Nor do I actually but I've been reading about this new feature in the media for the past 2 or 3 weeks.

I'm also having this issue in other browsers, Firefox, and IE, just the error message is different. I am at work today on a different network and using various computers, and am also seeing the issue here.

I used Chrome's developer tool and can see 1 script that is being blocked. I'm not sure if this will help but here is a screenshot.

  • I'm having the same issue but on top of that I can't open any activity details. Clicking the activity doesn't do anything. When I allow 'Load unsafe scripts', it shows an empty page + a warning that the current link is not https.

Anyone else having the same issue ?
