Forerunner 620 won't upload recent activity to connect

I have a forerunner 620. It "syncs" to Connect. Everything seems to be ok, but the most recent activity doesn't get uploaded. I actually deleted my device and readded it. Then I reverted back to the previous version of connect (as I believe I updated the app last night), added the device again and still the activity won't upload. Is this a problem on my end or Garmin's? I've never had this issue before.

To add, I've rebooted both phone and garmin. I updated the app again. Deleted the device and added it again. It goes through the sync motions but nothing gets uploaded and I never see the two arrows on my watch that indicate transfer is happening. I don't have any clue what to do at this point, but this has been a very reliable device and app up to this point. Any ideas?

    Can not sync forerunner 620 neither wirelessly nor using Garmin connect and cable. Using garmin connect it claims some files are corrupted, which is not true as I can see details of those activities using watch menu. I don't want to delete those activities as for the record. Are you going to fix those issues and provide firmware update solving this problems?

    [EDIT] After upgrading garmin connect to newest version I was able to sync at least using cable, so I have my activities.

    Same with my 305 recently. Something very annoying going on lately with Connect.!

    edit...got fed up not being able to download my runs so did a hard reset of the 305 today before a 5 miler.
    This run loaded up to express no problem. Second time in a few weeks that I've had to do this...
  • Still have the problem with Forerunner 620: no upload of my runs. It doesn't work on Macbook or iPhone.
    Do you have a solution to the problem? When can we expect a solution?

    We are aware of an issue that is causing the Forerunner 620 and Forerunner 220 to not sync with Garmin Connect Mobile as expected (Garmin Express uploads will work). We are investigating and will post updates when they are available.

    Currently we have only replicated this on Android. Are there any users that are seeing this on iOS?


    I am definitely seeing the issue on iOS - in v11 and v12. This isn't the 'health privacy' bug - (for whatever reason, GC has never show up in Health for me, which is a different bug). GC runs normally, my 620 connects, the sync arrows in GC start and the green completion circles goes about 1/4 of the way around but never goes further. I am able to sync using Garmin Express.
