Do to a computer problem a couple of weeks ago I had to create a new account. My Garmin Forerunner 10 linked up to this account with no problem. I was able to get my original garmin account back up (with thousands of runs on it) so I asked Garmin to delete my new account which they did. Now I can't get my garmin to link up to the original account. I just get an error message on the computer screen. Basically I'm asking, how can I get my Garmin Forerunner 10 to link back up to my original account? Any ideas? Thanking you in advance.
You use Garmin Express to upload data from the watch to Garmin Connect, right? In that case go to the Garmin Connect account settings in Garmin Express, and enter the correct username and password for the account you want to upload to.
I use Garminconnect.com. When I go there I find nothing to enter my username or password. I only have a place where I can update my email address but not my user name. What am I missing?
Use Garmin Express, which should already be installed on your computer as an applicatoin. Click on your device, go to Tools & Content, Garmin Connect tab, Change account. Enter the email address and password associated with your original Garmin account.
