Wrong distance markers in Route Creator

See the screenshot below. The kilometer markers are at completely wrong positions (for example the distance between 1 and 2 is much shorter than between 3 and 4). Am I using some wrong settings?

The route on the link looks nothing like the route in the photo you posted, distance on the link route look fine
