Connecting a Vivosmart 3

Hi, After my nephew deleted my Garmin Vivosmart 3 from Garmin Connect the device will not connect to my Android app via bluetooth, the phone will connect via Bluetooth, but the Garmin connect app doesn't want to recognise the device, any help appreciated.
