Cannot upload long swimrun activity

Hi!

I have finished a long swimrun activity (multisport) last staurday. I cannot synchronize it with GC. Have tried synchronization through GC Mobile, Garmin Express via cable, direct upload to GC from desktop...no success.
The FIT file is quite large - 609kb, nevertheless strava uploads it without any problems.

I'm using Fenix 3 on 8.90.

Is there any way to see what's wrong with the FIT file recorded? I have tried some of the tools avaialble online.

https://www.fitfiletools.com/#/top - processing does not affect the problem
http://garmin.kiesewetter.nl/ - upload to csv conversion ends with exception, autofix does not work

If anyone could help me with the file it would be great.

I managed to upload the file. Strange thing is that uploading via GC import dod not work. I had to put the fixed file into the F3's memory and synchronise with Garmin Express...

Anyway - detailed training is now on my GC account!!!

Hi Mike!

After a year I have done a 2019 edition of the same swimrun race and again my Garmin F3 created a corrupted FIT file. Could you help me this time once again?

jacs_1979 - give this file a try. If it doesn't work then let me know and I will pull it apart by sessions and reconstruct it.

Hi! Thanks a lot for help. I was able to load it, but there is something wrong with the data consistency.

I'm using hrm-tri and the strange thing is that the is no heart rate on the swimming stages.

Does this data even existed in the original file?

jacs_1979 - all of the swim stages have 3 or 4 HR records at the start and a couple at the end but the rest of the HR data isn't there.

That's strange, it seems that my HRM-Tri stopped to store HR data during the swim stages. Last year HR was stored perfectly but there was a different issue with the long swimrun file.
I'm wondering what was wrong with the file this time?
