Reduce number of decimal places in gpx exports

When exporting a gpx file for an activity the lat / lon coordinates have 27 decimal places. This causes problems with a program I use and also makes the files larger than they need to be. If the same activity is downloaded from Strava as a gpx the coordinates have just 7 decimal places. To make the gpx files work in the program I use I need to do a gpx to gpx conversion in GPSBabel which reduces the decimal places to 9 which I believe provides for sub-millimeter precision.
