I would appreciate if I could get some help with my training.
Background in short. For way too long I've been a couch potato. Then in February this year I decided to make a change, bought a Forerunner 235 and began exercising. I began with the Training plan "Getting started - Heart rate based - Level 1" and have been following it strictly. When the plan was over I immediately changed to "Getting started - Heart rate based - Level 2". Somewhere in the middle of this process I also changed to a job within commuting distance by bike. So, since the beginning of May I've been biking approximately 14 km (2 x 7 km) a day on top of the training.
The current training plan will end in 8 weeks and my question is, what would be a recommended next step? That is, what would you recommend me to take as next Training plan and, if relevant, at what level?
Goal:
My intention with my training is basically only to improve my health and get fit. I've had a long term goal to be able to run 10 km in less than 60 minutes, and I believe that will be achievable in the future though I'm not there yet.
Today, at zone 2, my pace is 6:40 min/km.
