Combine 3rd party workouts with garmin workouts

I am wearing my Fenix 5x Plus during my Zwift rides, with a Garmin Vector 3 power meter feeding my Fenix 5x Plus & an iOS device running Zwift.

The Problem: After the ride I have two separate workouts. (See attached picture, however I manually added the distance data to the garmin workout)

The expected result: Data should be combined from the two workouts.

The garmin data has no distance/speed/elevation data, to be expected. However it does contribute to my Training Status, VO2max, FTP, etc.

The Zwift data has distance/speed/elevaation data, however does not contribute to my Training Status, VO2max, FTP, etc.

Interim solution: Manually add distance and elevation data to the garmin workout, then delete the Zwift workout.

Agreed. Garmin Connect support team, are there plans to combine these into one workout? Both provide valuable data for later analysis.
  • thats an easy fix and a fix i have been using for more than a year :) just keep doing what your doing and doubletrack with your fenix 5X but instead of saving the activity on your fenix you just hit delete after the workout :) the recovery statur and trainingstatus and son on will still be calculated anyway :) this way you will not have 2 activities in connect
