Simple way of manually recording reps

Hi. I'm quite new to my Fenix 3 but can't help noticing something really simple isn't possible (unless I'm an idiot and can't work out how to do it). If you want to add an activity manually using Activities > + Manual Activity, and an exercise like Push-Ups for example, the only option you've got is to add a time for Strength Training. It would make much more sense to be able to add the amount of reps you've done of a particular exercise. I know this is now measurable with the Fenix 5 but will this ever get added to the Connect app or is there another way of importing this through a CIQ or iOS app?
