' Forerunner 645 Music - not connected '

Have just bought the 645 and am quite pleased with it, haven't put music on there yet as I have an issue with connection to my phone.

I have downloaded the connect app and it seems to sync data every day so far, not sure how it is doing that although my phone bluetooth is on and I did connect the first time I turned it on.

Now that I am coming to add music for example I get the following message:

'Device not connected:

To manage your Connect IQ(TM) apps,
you must first connect your device.'

Like I said before I didi do the initial setup and it has been syncing some data (like my walks for example).

It says that I can manage my Garmin Pay wallet when 'your device is reconnected'.

What is going on? Does anyone have an idea?

I'm really starting to love the watch but am missing out on some key features because of this 'connection' issue.

It's got me stumped, pretty annoying to be honest but there you go.

I'd appreciate the help if someone knows what is going on.
