I recently started using my Forerunner 305 again and wanted to be able to upload the data to new computer (windows 10). Garmin Connect and the device both say either sync complete or transfer complete, but no activity is there. I've searched the computer for tcx, gpx or fit files but can't locate anything. Is this product compatible with newer programs?
My only issue is with the clip and when I attach the watch it sometimes errors out because the watch needs to be attached properly the first time as my clip must be slightly worn out. The way I get around it is to remove the clip from the USB cable, attach the watch, and then reattach the cable.
Given that you hadn't used it in a while, is it possible you have the 305 going to a different old Connect account?
