Vivomove HR - lost Connect account

Hi,
Hoping someone may be able to help, I have emailed product support but not had a response.
I got a Garmin Vivomove HR at Christmas, and synced it up to my phone which has worked fine until now. I don't remember making an account when I did this (i.e. give an email address etc.). I tried to use it online once, and setup an account under my main email address but it wasn't the same info.
I have now swopped phones, and want to sync to my new phone. However, when I do this Connect asks me to log in, which I cannot do! If I use my main email address account to log in, and then try to sync my Garmin it says it is sync'd to another account and continuing will delete all my info, which I obviously haven't done.
I did log out on my old phone (because I thought then when I went to re-sign in it would show me what my login is) so now I am not syncing to anything and am worried I have lost 5 months of data.
I have tried recover password with every single email address I have ever used, and none of them have an account with Garmin.
Is it possible to setup a Connect account without an email address? As I am sure this is what I have done. If this is what I have done, how do I now get that data onto my new phone?

  • In my case, the login information for the Garmin forum is the same as my login to Connect.

    So, unless you created a different new login for the forum, try LaurenJHB as the user name and your forum password to get into Connect.

    Thanks, I did create a login for the forum yes unfortunately!
    I just realised - I am talking about the mobile app rather than the web based version, does that make a difference?
    I can't log in to either of them however.
