i guess after 25-05-2018, we don't that word anymore. (for EU citizens)Section 3 of Article 15 of the GDPR uses the word ‘request’, and the polite way of phrasing a request is to use the word ‘please’. You make it sound like a demand and an assertion of what is owed you, but remember you're only entitled to ‘a copy’ – i.e. the first one – of your personal data completely free of charge. That means if you've already been provided with a copy of everything up to, say, 3 June 2018 when you request it, then Garmin as the data controller may charge you a fee for providing (at your subsequent request) your personal data for the first two days in June again. It's better for you if you learn to couch your request with ‘please’, if you would like the relationship to remain cordial and for Garmin to waive its entitlement to charge you on that occasion.
