Stretching as Warmup and Cooldown for Strength Training (and for running also)

I would like to create a strength training workout. And, I see numerous options available to select for the specific type of exercise. However, I do not see in the warmup or cooldown areas where stretching is an option to select. I have read, and my personal trainer advises, to always do stretches (various types) when beginning or ending all my workouts. Not just strength, but especially my runs. Would various stretching options become available in the warmup and cooldown selections when creating a workout? Thank you.
