Problems with establishing a calendar subscription on iPhone

Since a few days my GC calendar didn't seem to sync anymore to my iPhone calendar.

Hence I've removed the "old" calendar subscription on my iPhone and tried to reestablish. However that doesn't seem to work anymore ...

After sharing my GC calendar in Garmin Connect (browser) I'm copying the given link and trying to add a new calendar subscription.

But when trying to do that I'm first getting an error message saying something like "SSL Connection not possible". Then, after taping on "continue" I'm getting another error message saying "account Information cannot be confirmed".

So effectively I cannot add a working calendar subscription to sync with Garmin Connect.

Does anybody have any idea how to fix?

The link (calendar feed) itself does seamlessly work within Outlook (Desktop) or within Google Calendar (Browser). But neither on my iPhone nor on two iPads (all having the latest iOS version) I've tried thus far.

Sorry in advance for not being able to describing those error messages exactly (on my phone all is in German).

Good to know that I'm not alone!

Maybe I have a solution. It worked for me.
First I published the calendar in Garmin Connect and then I copied the link and pasted it in Safari.
Then iCal opened and asked into what calendar I wanted to import the data. I selected new calendar.

I did what Capucam suggested and it worked a treat.

First ensure your calender is published in Garmin Connect and then copy the link and pasted it in Safari, where you would place a URL.
Then iCal opened automatically and asked into what calendar I wanted to import the data. I selected new calendar.

I just googled this thread. If you do it the suggested way, you don't subsribe to the calendar and it will not get updated manually? You only download the entries in a batch file and will collect multiple entries if you redo it because you changed something?

One solution that worked for me: Add your subscribed Garmin calendar to Google Calendar (in the Google Calendar web interface) - then go to https://calendar.google.com/calendar/syncselect (in Safari on your iOS device) and make sure your Garmin calendar is selected. Now it shoud be available in your iOS calendar app.

I seems that the publishing link provided by the Garmin Connect is still not functioning. How do you get Garmin to fix this?
