Can't reconnect to phone on Android 8.1

Hi,

I just got a new phone on Android 8.1 and it's not possible to use my vivoactive 3 at all. It paired for the first time and synced but:
1.it won't connect anymore
2. Vivoactive can't be removed from Bluetooth devices unless I go to Android safe mode
3. As long as VA3 is on Bluetooth devices list I have issues with Bluetooth audio streaming, it would pause for a second every 30-60 seconds. This goes away if I remove VA3/Garmin connect from the device

Any suggestions? I don't wanna return my VA3 but it's quite literally not possible to connect the device to a phone now :(

Have you tried unpairing & then repairing, I've got everything running ok on a vivosmart HR+ and Android 8.0
