Combine two activities in my calendar, possible?

I just started creating the workouts for the week ahead.

My warm up is 20min long and has 5 min easy spin, then 1 minute 110rpm, and goes up and down like several times - 20 steps in total. Therefore i have created a workout for warm ups so i don't have to create sequence for every single activity.

on the other hand some days I do tempos, or sprints, or sweet spots...

Can i somehow merge or copy the warm-up into the activitity?

i don't want to end up with two activities but i don't want to create that long sequence for every activity either.

can someone help me?
  • At least for the more recent Forerunner models, as far as I'm aware, after you completed the pre-programmed steps of a custom workout the timed activity does not stop automatically (i.e. you'll need to manually stop recording ‘the rest of’ it past the last pre-programmed step by pressing a button). That means if the actual workout is variable and arbitrary (instead of pre-programmed as a workout), you can always commence the timed activity as the ‘warm-up’ custom workout, and then do whatever you want after the 20 steps of the warm-up have been completed, but still only get only one timed activity record from each session.
