I would like to be able to see all the statistics for my run on a per lap basis. Overall is nice, but when you do a workout or hit the lap button I would be more interested in what a particular lap looks like for heart rate - cadence - or whatever. Usually my lap is a faster interval and is significantly different than the overall. Please add in the capability to click (or tap in the mobile app) on an individual lap and then bring up all the same information that can be viewed normally for the entire run.
Firstly, let's forget individual preoccupation with using dedicated apps on mobile devices. You can already see quite a number of metrics on a per lap/split basis in Garmin Connect online, which you can access in a browser on either your computer or your mobile (tablet or phone) device.
Secondly, you can also see per lap metrics in the Garmin Connect Mobile app, and that's nothing new. I have a mobile device that's still running version 3.11.1 of the Garmin Connect Mobile app for Android, and that feature is there. It's also there in v4.4.2 (for Android), and v4.5.2.1 (for iOS).
Thank you for pointing this out. I couldn't find it after looking a few times. I am still new to Garmin connect I have been using Training Center for years until a few weeks ago.
Turns out on my phone all I had to do was to rotate the device to get landscape mode when looking at laps then you see all the other stats. However there is some stuff missing here - my running dynamics data. This data is all on the web application though.
So my feature request is a lot easier. I would like the running dynamics data (vertical oscillation, ground contact balance, ...etc) added to the extended lap (landscape) view on the mobile app.
