Why would HRM Sensor ID change

My ant+ HRM has been changing it's sensor ID. Is this normal or does it indicate a problem.

Did you change (or removed then reinserted) its battery?

Yes. Is it normal for the sensor ID to change when you change and/or reinsert the battery?

But it the sensor ID recently also changed without changing/removing the battery. Why would that happen?

Your best bet is to ask that question of the manufacturer of your ANT+ HRM. You didn't say which make and model it is, and I'm not inclined to guess or investigate.
