I am so frustrated by this. Having created courses and allocated each run / ride, I can't even filter by them to view my stats / progress. If I filter by distance I get all sorts of other courses in there.
Originally probably for this purpose, but as you can see it does not work. So you can either wait couple of years more till Garmin fixes it, or you move on, use the available means, and do as I suggested, which works sufficiently well, with no big hassle.
That is what I did too, I added course name to activity name, but it took me a long time, because I have a lot of activities and I have probably missed some of them. It is just a very stupid decision to remove functionality that was working fine for a long time.
