Badges?

What happened to all my badges? I logged in this weekend and they are all gone. I've been logging things since 2009 and i was in the millions for steps and thousands for km ran?

There appears to be a new badge system, but have we just indiscriminately reset everyone's?

Ok, thanks, i read through the link. I'll send Garmin a note, but i think i know the answer. Garmin is the best in the world at hardware as far as I'm concerned, sadly, the software side isn't there. I suspect i'm starting over in badges. Hopefully they dont implement a point forward change which impacts my mileage, that'll be harder on the psychy.
