HRM Run battery issues

Hello, since a couple of weeks I am having issues with my HRM run. First it was not synching so I changed the battery, it worked, just after ibweI for a run and no issues. The day after it was not synching anymore, I changed the battery again and it worked again and after a it was not working again... ItvseeIt I can only use the strap for a while after the battery charge. does someone had the same issue? Any idea how to solve it?
Hi. I have the same problem with my second hrm4 run. The first one started draining batteries after the first change of the original one. Then started losing connection. The second one started the same draining since the first change of battery again. I am on the third battery and they last for 10 days more or less.
Try putting the battery in reversed for about 30s then put it back the right way up. Although it might just be that your HRM run is shot and needs replacing. If it's relatively new, might be worthwhile contacting Garmin Support.
Same here... I'll try the battery reveal trick... but that would seem to do a reset, and not fix a battery drain condition, that seems to imply some kind of short in the strap or the electronics.
For a coin battery - this doesn't do what you think it does... unlike a normal battery in which the voltage would be applied in reverse, a coin battery will simply short out the two terminals when put in reversed. But, worth a try I guess.
