Connect Desktop Maps

Hey,

So I was wondering if there are any plans to update the maps that Garmin uses for their desktop map features. In the community, I am currently living the maps are currently about 4 years out of date. I use all the new roads for my runs but it makes it hard to create courses and get accurate numbers prior to running the course with how outdated the maps are. Especially for a company built on GPS it would seem kinda lackluster that the maps are that old. Is this a common thing or is there a way to update the maps?

    Garmin Connect can use maps from 3 different sources, depending on your selection (look for the layers icon in the upper left corner of the map). These are Google Maps, Bing and Openstreetmap. Try selecting another source to see if it contains more up-to-date map data, and if this does not resolve your issue, then you have to wait for any of the providers to update their maps.
