I have the Vivosmart HR and at times my phone will start playing music from my library. I am guessing the watch somehow is telling the phone to play the music, but I am not telling it to. Is there a way to disconnect music from my watch? I have looked and cannot find out a way to make this stop. Thanks!!
I think you're probably in the wrong forum to get a lot of answers but which app do you use to play music? Android or iOS? The app I use has a setting that music will start if bluetooth headphones connect to the phone. I have turned that setting off because whenever I would get in my car and my phone would connect to my car, music would also start and it was quite annoying. I suppose that VAHR disconnecting and then reconnecting might trigger the same behaviour.
i have this happen occasionally, but normally notice that my Vivosmart HR+ has the music control screen on and i've just knocked it inadvertently, if you go into the device settings on Garmin connect mobile, you can turn the music controls off

I think this is what is happening, but I can't find out how to get rid of the music control system on it. Is that an option? Thanks!
I may have just figured out a way to bypass it.... I turned the autolock mode on so if it gets brushed by accident it won't change screens. Let me know if anyone knows of a way to turn off the music control system. Thanks!
I really like my 2017? vivosmart HR watch and finally found the answer for turning on/off the Music Control using Garmin’s Connect app on an iPhone, in case anyone still needs it. A hint to help you remember is that the Music Control is a Display Option in the Device Settings. STEPS: 1. Tap on [More] in the bottom right of the Connect app. 2. Scroll down and tap [Garmin Devices]. 3. Then tap on [Device Settings] 4. Tap on [Display Options]. 5. Scroll down and tap on. [Music Controls]. 6. Toggle on or off as desired. On mine, ON is a blue “I” and OFF is a gray “o”. Hope this is helpful. TMH 9/28/21
