Import of Wahoo .fit file only partially working

I am looking to import a few cycling rides from my wahoo element.
I am able to save them from Wahoo to my dropbox account.
Then I can import the .fit file into Garmin but it only partly works

On the activities screen, I can see the activity with the correct details. I think these are the overview details.
When I try to view the activity I get a screen that just says "Sorry, we're having trouble with this page."

Any thoughts on why I can not see the details of imported Wahoo activities?

I have attached a .fil file that is having issues and can provide more details if needed

Hi, I am having the exact same problem with a fit file coming from a Wahoo Elemnt BOLT. See attached file..

hi Steven,

I've run your file thru the Fit File Repair Tool and have been able to upload it to GC and also Strava and view it on both sites.

I would hazard a guess that FFRT is 'fixing' something in the file so that GC and Strava are able to read it properly,

Give this file a try.

Thank you kiwimtnbkr, that did indeed work! Thanks.
Unfortunately the FFRT is only a Windows tool. I am Linux user and don't have Windows around. I will try to determine what is wrong with the FIT file based on your repaired file.

Hi Mike, Thanks so much!

I wonder what the issue is, I wonder if it is Wahoo not formatting it incorrectly, or if it is Garmin needing the data in a non wahoo format.

Does anyone from Garmin know where the issue is?
It would be great to get this issue fixed so a the files can be manually imported into Garmin from Wahoo.

Wahoo uses FIT File Version 2, which causes issues with Garmin Connect

I have the feeling this is not limited to *.fit files from Wahoo. I have the same issue with 10 *.gpx files form my Garmin 64s.

They are there, but they are not.
They can be deleted, but they can not.

The only special thing about this files is that they also contain cadence as additional metric.

Yup, I have the same problem with Kickr Snap FIT files exported from the Wahoo Fitness Android app. They used to work a few months ago, not sure if it's Wahoo or Garmin that changed something.
