Cannot sync Forerunner 230 on new account

Hi all,

I made a new installation of Garmin Connect on OSX, haven't used my watch for a couple of months. This error comes up on a new window when I try to sync:

"Server unavailable. We are unable to connect to our servers. Please try updating your consent preference later"

I am connected to the internet and the watch even updated to the latest 7.70 firmware, but cannot sync latest activities.. Btw I cannot sync with bluetooth due to incompatibility with my phone.

Anyone else facing the same issue?
