Corrupted account

For the last 2 months I have been unable to access my account as it initially didn't recognize my password and subsequently wouldn't allow me to change it. I contacted support and have received a number of emails asking questions...but no fix.

They assure me that this is "more than just a password issue" as my "account is corrupt for some reason" and they "do not have a method to resolve it yet".

They also told me that my account "is not the only one experiencing this issue".

I'm being told to simply create a new account and move on. I don't suppose I need to explain how frustrating it is to be told to forget the many years of tracked data I had on Connect from both old & current devices.

I'm hoping to connect with the stated other people who are experiencing this issue to see if they're getting any better information from Garmin on when it'll be fixed and if our data is forever lost.

And if you aren't experiencing this issue: BACK UP YOUR DATA!
