Sleep time cannot be corrected

A couple of days ago I started to have a strange Problem. Usualy my fenix 3 HR doesn't properly recognize my sleep times. I don't mind it too much, since I simply correct the values manualy on GCM. Lately though, after I correct the times in GCM, it reverts back to the first values after I sync my fenix again (either via BT or via Wifi, doesn't matter how). Only possible way to keep my values, is to go to GC(M) after midnight and change the values on yesterday's sleep. Those are beingt kept after re-syncing my fenix. It's only todays value that get reverted back.

- tried with GCM on Android - problem persists
- tried with GCM on iOS - problem persists
- tried with GC on the PC (Browser) - problem persists
- tried deleting GCM App and re-installing it - - problem persists
- tried a power-cycle of the watch (and the mobile devices) - - problem persists

Only thing I have not tried yet, is a hard reset of my fenix, and I'm really not willing to do it yet. I don't think it's watch-related anyway, I rather think it has something to do with GC. I also don't think a solution is possible right now so I'm actualy curious to know if anyone else is experiencing the same problem.
  • I just entered my weight. Except that I would have preferred a few less pounds, it worked fine for me. As for calories, I always take them with a grain of salt. For example, a treadmill walk of an hour with an HRM consumed 247 calories. A walk with an HRM that was 5 minutes longer outside with GPS consumed 680 calories. This is with a VA. Go figure.

The sleep is completely messed up for me. Got the vivo3 and it was working then stopped, I guess after a software update, then worked after I noticed a software update and now not working again after 3.30. I did the usual time wasters early on like reinstalling, resetting the watch to defaults, etc and it was all useless. synced this morning and again no sleep data and the times it shows are 1pm to 7pm, where does it get values like that, I have no clue. we have almost no control over the system, a few settings and wear the watch so its nothing on our end. you can look at heartrate history and basically see when you were sleeping it just doesnt seem that complex to populate the sleep data. I've called on Garmin as a vendor and they're a great company but software issues this silly are annoying. In the end its all pretty silly anyway but I guess the reason we buy something like this is because we want to zone out on data and look at it 100 different ways. if the thing doesnt give you that then what's the point. of course we could use the old fashioned way, went to bed at 10 and woke up when the cat told me to let me feed that into the cipher machine and see how long I slept. dont expect any answers I guess a software update will happen eventually and fix it and i was just in the mood to vent a little :) honestly i love the watch and have had no other issues
  • le25xyz,

Of course your time zone is set properly in your display profile - right? Maybe the firmware update blew it away.
  • So far it seems to work... glad Garmin fixed this

As to weight, had no problem with it either...
  • For me it is since a few days working as well.

    Best regards

Depends on the screen. Sleep screen shows 7hrs 3min. Dashboard says 6 hrs 57 mins. They haven't synced properly for weeks
