How to export Heart data (per second)

Hi,
I want to export heart rate data like a csv file (data for all day, not exercise).
How I can do this?

Thanks
  • You cannot export the data unless it was captured in the first place.

The fenix 3 HR does not record heart rate data every second, unless the device's Data Recording setting is set to Every Second and it is recording a timed activity (i.e. during what the user ‘tells’ the watch is exercise to be recorded, and in which case the battery will not be able to last all day).

If you want the F3HR's optical heart rate monitor to report your heart rate every second while not in a timed activity, and to record and export that information as a CSV file, then quite simply you need to activate the Broadcast HR function on the device, and have a compatible device (equipped with ANT+) nearby to receive and record the broadcasted HR data, then allow you to export it as a CSV file.
  • Many thanks for reply.

did you mean like at the end of you post?

I've changed to "Every Second". But if I sync evry 3-4h, the memeory problem is fixed, correct?

Can you do any device example?
    Thanks

It's a battery life problem and not primarily a memory problem.

My Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 tablet.

    ah ok

My Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 tablet.

    ok, what app you use?

    thanks

  • I don't use any app on my Tab S for the purpose you described (since I have no personal interest), but I know the tablet can receive HR data over ANT+ broadcast from either one of my chest strap heart rate monitors (Garmin HRM-Run, Wahoo TICKR X, etc.) or my Garmin Forerunner 235 (which has a built-in optical heart rate sensor, and the Broadcast HR capability), because I've used the Wahoo Fitness app to prove exactly that. Given such hardware capability, a user can of course find/develop/commission an Android app that can receive the HR data and export it to a CSV file.

What I'm not interested in looking for a ready-made solution for your intended outcome, and I don't know if one exists today that you can easily get access to without significant effort, expense and/or delay.

  • mmm ok, many thanks.
But i think thant, if my device can record every seconds data, why in garmin connect i can see record saved every 2'? (of course this question isn't for you :))
