Checking in over 3 years later and looks like no movement here? I was trying JRRUNNER's work around (editing an existing Garmin plan), but find you can only edit the content of the workouts... E.g. I can change the structure/repeats/duration within a run, but I can't, say, swap out a run for just a note that says Crosstrain - or take a note that says Crosstrain or Rest day and turn it into a run!
Pretty frustrating...

Maybe you already have your answer, but If you use an existing trainingplan you must delete the workouts form that trainingplan in the trainingplan menu, but adding workkouts must be done in the agenda.
Anyone knows if you can change the length of the trainingplan you use and if you can change the name? Also I just adapted the trainingplan for the marathon and I can't manage to plan it for a second period. Or is that only possible when it's completed a first time?
+1 on this. I had used a computerized plan for years. It was based on my current VO2 max my Heart Rate Variability during exercise and light, medium, heavy workout cycle. The plan suggested speeds and distances for the next week which were tweaked after every workout. I would like to get something like this from my Garmin.
I'd like this or some dynamic plan. I had an older computer program that created recommended workout based on my current level of exercise and Heart Rate Variability and recommended the next week of workouts, The workouts were tweaked after every workout or unscheduled day off, to keep me on track.
I tried it, but when I start the quick--plan batch file I get the command prompt for a few seconds and then it closes.
