modular charging clips (watches)

Would it be possible to design modular clips, i.e. a clip with a micro-usb socket such that one cable can share different clips. Traveling with different watches means carrying useless lengths of cable. I have several devices, using different clips, USB-C, micro-USB and/or mini-USB. I'd rather have one cable and several terminals than carrying several cables.
  • I'm sure that's possible. Why don't you start designing with that goal in mind, and perhaps build a few prototypes while you're at it?

Most charging cables already plug into a standard USB Type A socket, so the idea of it being modular is already satisfied, and there is very little commercial demand for moving to a design that instead accepts a micro-USB plug from the power source.
