M?! Whaaaaat?! Watt!

I was just looking at some activities I did this summer. I find the unit for power abbreviated as "M"! I'snt Watt still the offcial unit for power?!

I understand, that Ms and Ws are looking d*mm*ed similar! My daughter child also mixed them!

Garmin, would you mind to upend all the Ms?! Thank you! ciq.forums.garmin.com/.../1305810.jpg
  • This is obviously a translation glitch, as it is ok in other languages.
  • "Mayday, Mayday, Mayday. This is Red Rose. We are 5 NM west of the island Sylt. We have have 5 persons aboard, and we are sinking!"

"Zis is ze German coastguard. What are you zinking about?"

Apparently a translation error in GC. My GC shows W when English or Danish language is chosen, and M when German language is chosen.

What web browser are you using? When I switch my account to German the data displays as expected. We are trying to replicate the issue as part of our investigation. Thanks.

  • I just switched my account to German and I can reproduce the issue (I see "M" instead of "W", which goes back to "W" once I switch back to English). I run chrome 64 on linux.
  • I see the M in German when I look at this activity: https://connect.garmin.com/modern/activity/2455806713#.WnjgqCmqqtc.link

I use Google Chrome. This is my version information:
